Product Use: Gradient programmable cooling box is a device used to achieve gradual cooling of cells, tissues, or biological samples during cryopreservation. It controls the rate of temperature change to prevent ice crystal formation caused by rapid cooling during freezing, thus protecting the sample's structure and viability.
Precautions:
Ensure the cooling box and cryovials are clean and dry to prevent the cryovials from sticking to the tube openings after freezing.
Before placing the sample, check that the cooling box is intact and functioning properly.
Follow the correct operating procedures to avoid damage to the sample due to operational errors.
For PC-type programmable cooling boxes, inject 100% isopropanol into the box interlayer before use (isopropanol needs to be prepared and added by the user).
After placing in the freezer, avoid contact with other substances; ensure a 2.5cm gap around the sample.
When not in use, store in a dry, cool place, avoiding temperatures above 60°C and ultraviolet light.
It is strongly recommended to check cell viability after freezing before terminating the culture of the original cell line.
