Plate sealing for deep well plate, microplate (including PCR plate and ELISA plate) is necessary during sample preparation, sample reaction, and sample storage. Silicone sealing mat for plate is the most secured and safest way of plate sealing. Due to its inert characteristics and excellent elastics, silicone sealing is leak-proof, chemical resistant, highly temperature-withstanding, and without contamination. The pre-slit on the bottom of extrude are easy for tip and needle piercing.
Sealing plate with films are easy, quick, and economic. There are three major sealing films available, i.e., pressure-sensitive, heat-sensitive, and adhesive film. Pressure-sensitive and adhesive sealing films can be directly used against the plate, whereas thermal sensitive films are used with a thermal plate sealer.
